Peppermint Creams recipe

This is an heirloom recipe!

3 cups granulated sugar
2 tablespoons white corn syrup
7 drops peppermint oil
1 cup water
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar

Boil to soft ball stage. Drop onto wax paper from spoon.
