Penuche Drops recipe
.2 cups light brown sugar
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup chopped nuts
3 cups quick oats
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine brown sugar, butter, and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Pour over nuts, oats and vanilla extract. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. Cool.
